Go to your local auto parts store and pick up a Haynes and a Chilton repair book for your vehicle.Between both books,all step by step instructions will show you how to change head gasket(s).
You didn't say which motor but books cover all engines.Need to know how to mechanicaly install and change a new head gasket on a 1996 Pontiac Grand PRIX Se/?I,m not trying to be smart a** in any way but if you have ask please let a pro do it. It will save you time and money.
