Head gasket, how much it costs to change?

I have a ford focus 1.6 litre petrol made in year 2002, I think it needs a new head gasket, how much you think it will cost at a garage?

here's a video of my problem: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ETprWr5MaSwHead gasket, how much it costs to change? The smoke is definitely signs of a new head gasket. Not sure about the noise, but once the head is off, any further damage can be assessed.

The head will require shaving, new head bolts used, new gasket, probably a new timing belt if it hasn't been changed, and the water pump too, if it is driven by the timing belt. Probably at least 600 quid for all that, minimum.Head gasket, how much it costs to change?ooooh. It's the pistons... I guarantee it. But if it was the head gasket then it would cost around $20 for the part and around $1000 for the labor. I suggest a new engine. answer mine? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=An8079ycxPw5LcL.mp6rWHjsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20081230152750AA2E9cFHead gasket, how much it costs to change?A HEAD GASKET for sure and the first guy was right on about the cost. Its a labor intensive repair. It is shooying out the water at the tailpipe from the cylinder ware the gasket blew out.
