Rover200 keeps losing power, oil is creamy, water drunk in minutes, over rev'ing, cant use car. any1 help?

The head gasket was changed 1yr ago, had a little oil leaking from rocker box so was advised to gently tighten bolts on box, since then ive had this problem, oil is all creamy, car has no strength and loses power within no time, the water bottle empties within minutes of driving, after cooling down i refilled bottle and car went a little way then just repeats problems all over again. Anyone have any ideas why? and what? and how? thanks!!!Rover200 keeps losing power, oil is creamy, water drunk in minutes, over rev'ing, cant use car. any1 help?Head Gasket and liner seals popped!

New gasket will not fix it.

You need the head rebuilt and skimmed, as liner %26quot;chattering%26quot; causes a ridge in the head which a new gasket will not seal either.

There is a guy in Kent ( G Wood Engineering) who can machine the head and fit ring inserts into it where the gasket mates to the cylinder head and block. Head is then machined flat and with a new gasket hey presto, it works.

Also check the liners haven't moved and popped the seals in the block, as it is a common problem after head removal.

Never %26quot;lift%26quot; the head off, always twist so as not to pull the liner off the seal, otherwise it's an engine strip.Rover200 keeps losing power, oil is creamy, water drunk in minutes, over rev'ing, cant use car. any1 help?well to start out the head gasket is blowen agin and if this has happend two times now it is going to need a new header to or u will blow the hole motor this will probly cost more money then u thought but once it is done then u will have to get an oil flush and changed and a raditore flush also then new flueid after this the car should run like a topRover200 keeps losing power, oil is creamy, water drunk in minutes, over rev'ing, cant use car. any1 help?Sorry, but it's the head gasket again.

The engine is scrap! looks like it would be cheaper for you to get a fully reconditioned engine as the head is possibly warped due to overheating. If you decide to have the original engine 'done' I would suggest you also have the top surface of the block skimmed - often overlooked - as there could be 'pitting' where water has leaked from the channels.
