97 civic engine swap?

My car has a blown head gasket and I am planning to swap the d16y8 instead of changing the gasket. what engine should be better in terms of hp/cost? should I go with b18b, b16a2, b18c gsr or b18c itr? and how much should I expect to pay for it including the labor cost?

Thanks

PS: I am not gonna boost it.97 civic engine swap? There is no replacement for displacement. If you are going to be going n/a and you want the biggest bang, go for the b18c5 (ITR). But yes cost will be higher for that motor due to the low amount of them available. But if you want the best engine for hp/cost, then you want a b16a2 (Civic si) which is much easier to find and a lot cheaper. Plus in the future you could always swap a Type-R top end on the b16 and gain more as well.

Whatever you choose, I would recommend a v-tec engine!!!

The B16b is great for boosting but when it comes to n/a it's not worth it.97 civic engine swap?if you want a faster car sell your pile, and buy a American sports car, because nobody thinks a Honda that sounds like a weed whacker and has 20%26quot; rims is cool (except for you and 3 other people)
